My Innovation World is an initiative dedicated to identify and visit the most diverse Innovation Spaces around the five continents.
Innovation Spaces is a generic term for any environment that stimulates the innovation and creativity of its participants. Some of the places we’ll visit: Maker Spaces, Fab Labs, Coworking, Startups Incubators, Hacker Spaces, and more. To discover the wide variety of Innovation Spaces and its insertion into the different cultures of the planet is the main goal of My Innovation World.
Each visit will be presented in a weekly post. Further information about innovation and the around the world trip will be shared through social networks.
Fábio Corrêa Cordeiro is an Industrial Engineer graduate from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and post graduated in Strategic Management of Technological Innovation by the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). In the last ten years, he worked in the largest Brazilian research center where he had the opportunity to follow several R&D projects and to interact with the main Brazilian universities.
Fábio has traveled to several countries, doing some hiking and marathons. Highlights include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, trekking to Everest base camp and climbing Mount Roraima on the border between Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. He is also trained as a paraglider pilot by the Asa de Pano Flight School.
